CZ 75Sp01 ambi safety issue

My new CZ 75SP01 ambi safety came off the other day. I have a total of 90 rounds threw her. Anybody else have this problem?

I shot her the first day I had it for 60 shots cleaning after the first 10 then 30 then 60 total. No problems.

The next day my first shot goes of and the pistol doesnt auto load the next round. I look at the pistol and since I'm right handed i dont notice anything. I finish firing off 29 more rounds wth no problem. I clean up the brass that I shot as the range is a mess and I didnt want to add to it and I notice a piece of a pistol on the ground.

I look at it and it looks like my cz safety I look at my pistol and its gone on the right side. Great. I took it to James up front at tse and he kind of worked it back in but when I shot the pistol again the safety comes off.

Anybody else have this? Any thoughts on what is wrong?

There is a small peice of metal which fits into a groove on the part of the safety that sticks into the gun, and that is what holds it in. shaped like a rectangle with a pointy end. It is quite small and it sounds like you might be missing yours.
 
No it is there just there is nothing to force it forward to lock it into the safety. Missing a spring or broken I'm not sure.

It sucks to hear that is happening to your SP01, I have had mine since June and have not had an issue as of yet.

Talk with TSE again and perhaps they can swap parts from another SP01 (or CZ85 or ??) and they can return the evil one back to London Arms?

Or contact London Arms directly and see if they have any spares for warranty issues?
 
I've had my SP-01 for over 8 months and have shot close to 3,000 if not more rounds through it. I think I had one or two FTE using crappy reloads. Other then that not a single problem.
