It looks that 7.62 caliber change includes replacement of mag well, so it means reliable feeding with hi-cap magazines... Not like we are allowed to have them, but good to have properly working system just in case.

A friend of mine in the states has a first generation Bren. He regrets buying it, mostly because it is excessively boring he says and not particularly good at anything.

The CZ military just ordered 1200 of these things. The bren 805 is essentially dead.
