buddy of mine just bought a cz combat we were sighting it in and needed a little ajust to the right tried to turn the screw but she as too tight does any one know if there is a lock on the other end i have a set of ellison sights on a gold cup same screw and it works ok

Did he got it new or used?
If used maybe previous owner used locktite...

Bought mine new in 2002, didn't have any problem, yes it is hard, but not that hard...

yes its new but i didnt want to break it just wondering how tight they were

The sight adjustments on my CZ85C were very tight.

I used a couple of drops of penetrating oil (Kroil) it made the screws much easier to turn.
