CZ 858 barrel services?

Hi, i've been looking through the thread trying to find an answer but haven't been able to.

I just got a new to me CZ and the barrel isn't a clean as i was lead to believe. I had seen places that would clean and chrome the 858 / vz58 barrels but i can't find where i made a note of them. Do you know who offers those services?

Don't waste your money on non-factory chrome lining. It is a complicated process that can't be performed by small company. Well, it can, but the caliber of rifle will change....

chromed or not it wont matter much , just shoot it and clean and repeat ,


a long time ago some people send they cz858 to get nitro carburized , the process failled and the receiver lost his heat treat , wich mushroom the receiver were the locking lug goes and give a non fonctionnal rifle .... those rifle pop up once in a while on the EE
