It was my first set. I later got the NEA upper for cowitness. Left the lower on. B&T is pricey but nice. I still have the upper.Pic shows both B&Ts mounted.

The lower attaches to the barrel with 2 saddle mounts with 2 allen head screws each.Upper attaches same as factory upper. If you intend on mounting an optic the B&T sits too high for cowitness so consider the NEA. If not go for it.
