CZ 858 cleaning with varsol?

I have access to a nice varsol bath for cleaning my CZ858. Just wondering if it will not only remove some old krylon I put on her, but the original factory finish too?

I'm kindof in a place now where I want to see her in her original grey glory.

Any advise?

I use varsol all the time on painted surfaces at work. On probably a cheaper paint and finish than what's on your rifle. And it hasn't hurt anything. But I couldn't say for sure what it will do to the rifle.
