its a pretty simple question but i have been looking through the pages and no answer to it yet. I've recently purchased an 858-2 and i like the look of the pressed wood, however i would like to put a rail on the top handguard for a red dot as i like keeping the irons as an option.. my question is this, would i be able to mount the fab defense upper without its lower half? as in on top of the existing wood, and does it hold zero with having to remove it for cleaning. thanks alot guys
