Hi guys,
I recently bought a whole set of Feb Defense polymer furniture for my 858. The butt stock and pistol grip attached np, the hand guard gave a lot of trouble. I figured it was beyond my ability so I brought it to the gun smith, and yes, it did require fitting and material removal to mount. What I've noticed since I received my 858 back is the upper hand guard pin is incredibly hard to remove. I used to be able to push it out and pull the rest with my fingers with ease, now it requires a punch and hammer to be removed with ease. I brought it back to the gun smith and they did some extra filing on the spot, which did make it better, but it is still really hard to move. Has anyone experienced this kind of issue? Does anyone have any hints? Will the upper hand guard pin perhaps loosen up over time? Any info would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Shawn
