cz 858 FAB forestock fit issues?

has anyone here had fit issues with the FAB forestock? if so what was ur fix? i cant pull the tear down pin unless i parcially remove the lower grip........
need more coffee before getting out the dremmel

the teardown (field strip)pin you pull by hand to remove the top forestock or hand guard. it apears there is interferance between the upper and lower FAB hand guard locator tabs, not allowing the top hand guard to be positioned rearward and down enough to insert the retaining (tear down) pin unless the lower hand guard is not fully installed

ok...trimmed some off the rear of the male locator tabs with a razor knife, then "shaved" the top surface of the lower hand guard(forestock) down just enough to assemble the top handguard on without too much force.....looks and feels nice cant wait to try it out!
