Just curious guys, I was looking at a buddy's CZ 858 he just got and well, if you hold the action half open after cocking the thing and pull the trigger the firing pin drops.
Is this not a potentially unsafe situation on a closed bolt gun. I mean I know the UZIs orgionally had solid firing pins, however, a CZ is a closed bolt design with locking lugs. Therefore would this not be potentially unsafe like an SKS slam firing a single time?
I dunno I know the chances of a trigger getting pulled that fast (since the action closes quickly) are rare it just really struck me as odd because every semi auto gun I have seen has some sort of disconnect that prevents the thing from firing unless the locking lugs are engaged.
Maybe an expert can point out if it is safe or not?
Maybe this gun is faulty?
