Folks, good day.

So, went out the other day, fired a few rounds,and,behold.....Lightly dented primer.I cycled the bolt, extracted the round and fired a few more, until this happened again.Im using Czech surplus ammo.
Never had this issue before, the rifle had maybe 500 rds through it,until this happened.
Oh yes, I've taken the bolt apart and cleaned the firing pin, extractor,etc.
Should the firing pin be oiled or ran dry? Sorry for the silly question.
 
When you pull the trigger does it actually go click or is it a dead trigger? Sounds like you might have the gremlin, is your bolt tabbed? Did you do the shim on the trigger cross pin also, that can be the cause.
 
Back in the day when I used the Czech Surplus I got a couple clicks on a few rounds once in a while. Happened to my SKS and 858. Put the round back in and if fires on the second go. This is maybe only one round out of 500.

Your firing pin should be dry. Oil will cause gunk to build up in the firing pin channel. Also take a look at the tip of your firing pin. If its got a hollow point then it needs to be replaced.

Ok, here's what's happening.
-The firing pin is rounded( good thing).
-The stricken round fires successfully the second time.
-The bolt is not tabbed, and the trigger Does Not Click......I suspect Da Gremlin.....no shims on my trigger x-pin.

I'm guessing the Gremlin just appears after some rounds eh?

Same problem here with about 1,500 down the pipe.
Who does the tab work?

Edit- Dlask will be doing the tab welding.
