CZ 858 LOP question.

So I have a CZ 858 v2 (non res, folding stock). the length of pull currently is PERFECT.
But I'm running into a problem.
I'm gonna be running a plate carrier (with plates). Which will change the length of pull. Probably an inch or two longer than I'd like.

MY QUESTION IS.... :D

The NEA stock adapter, If I put a collapsable stock on it would it be shorter than the fixed folders length of pull?

Actually NEA rep.. I got a question about your adapter.
I see that its railed; would that affect the feild strip? (as in needing to take of the adapter to get the thing apart?)

No but it will make shooting with irons more dificult. Dlask makes 2 AR rear but stock adaptors but they will depend on witch angle you like the straight is for RDS units and the angle is for using iron sights. Although if you get the NEA 1 you can also get there rear cantilver mount that will allow you to place the optic of your choice right infront of your face. Any way you look at it...
It's going to cost you more money.

NEA also makes a regular AR adapter.

The only thing that holds me back on that NEA adapter is the knowledge that a folder might be coming from them one of these days, and that would be handy for transporting the gun.

^^Why not use the original folder until they come out with one? You can find them in the EE for $30-$40.

I switched back to it long ago. I admit that I hated it when I first tried it, but I now appreciate it for it's ruggedness, simplicity and shorter LOP, which suits my stance. It doesn't get fraction of the use my AR gets these days though.

Might buy one to try it out but I just hate the total cheek weld failure on folding VZs. I think it is best suited to guns like the one pictured...very short barrel, <50m shooting. Which, I guess, is mostly what I do with the NR version I have...but I like having the ability to put relatively accurate fire out to 150m which I would really struggle with if I had the folder on there.

Pipe insulation and duct tape take care of the cheek weld. I shoot my 11.75" with factory folder out to 250m regularly.

I wrapped mine in paracord, helps a little. I don't have a problem with cheek weld, but I'm only using irons. The folder wiggles a little, but still I had no problems hitting the torso of a large B27 target from a field position at 200 yards with it. POA is the neck area which gives solid hits on the torso. Zero is 75 yards. 200 yard POI is aprox -6.5".
