cz 858 Lower forestock removal

hello everyone
just bought a cz 858 trying to remove the forestock(handgaurds), have changed the upper wood and cant seem to get the lower wood off i have removed the pin that has to be punched out, just trying to get rid of the wood and put plastic stocks on ,anyone have an answer for me? would help alot

With the upper guard off, use a rubber mallet OR wooden dowel and gently tap the top edges of the lower handguard (Alternating) from the left side to the right nearest the gas/sight block and ever so gently use a screw driver to pry it free,

This one isn't, I believe there is for the upper hand guard,

Its to bad a sticky couldn't be made where it had only actual how to's without responses, for the vz Its a pain in the butt wading through all those pages for the new guys, maybe a simple type manual format that could be printed out?

Just pop that pin out. The one to the right of the wood on the reciever. In your picture it is the one just above the middle of the magazine...

He did remove the pin, its the handguard thats a little tight coming off.

Heh, guess I should read more carefully. Mine didn't take much pressure once the pin was out...
