Czech Special Forces Muzzle Brake System for VZ 58 / CZ 858

This muzzle brake system was designed by Former Czechoslovak Small Arms design Bureau for Military Competition to create new muzzle device for VZ 58 rifle. Till Mid-80s Czechoslovak army was relying on old but proven “Cone Shape Flash Hinder” but with reorientation towards more specialized fighting units instead general Warsaw Pact style mass army there was a need for increasing the potential of Army’s main Fighting Rifle.
Three new Muzzle devices were crated one of them known nowadays as CZ Large Brake it was reasonable effective and cheap to produce. Another Muzzle Brake was very similar to CZ large brake but instead of holes on top it used cuts on top as top gas vents, this designed was effective but not better then the first brake plus it was more expensive to manufacture.
Third and the best of all was the Muzzle brake system it was extremely effective, could be used just as flash hinder if needed by removing the brake part and in the eyes of czech army official it was the ultimate muzzle brake for VZ 58 Rifle however it was too expensive to manufacture for general issue as a standard army muzzle brake .
This brake was made in experimental order of 200 units and only issued in limited number to then Czech Army Special Forces.

We offer limited number of this brakes for sale all are in unissued condition Late 1980s early 1990s production

I have it on my vz aswell. Tends to be a little loud if ur shooting at a covered range, But it's very efficient at controlling muzzle jump
And what little recoil there is on a 223

Corwin is currently developing AK-74 style brakes for what I've heard.... Might be worth while to hold out for one of them.... They work great and really complete the "combloc" look.

i have the 2 piece brake. its really good. new production barnaul spits fireballs out of the nonrestricted csa vz58. with the brake on theres no flash and much less muzzle rise.

I liked this brake so much I bought 2. It works well and I have just started to try other styles and realized the special forces brake gives really good muzzle control. It is not as loud as the AK 47 short brake but seems to be slightly louder than the AK 74 large brake but I generally don't bring multiple brakes out with me for direct comparison.
