I am wondering what the difference is between the muzzle breaks for the CZ-858. Is there a different effect to them or is it just looks? I hope it is OK to copy and paste the site from Wolverine, if not, let me know and I will delete it. ***Of course you can cut & paste from a site sponsor***

If you want a brake, disregard the two flash suppressors.

The NEA Heavy brake does a great job at reducing recoil and muzzle rise. I also find it's less abusive to other shooters than the CZ brake.

I agree to all the above response's except the fact that the side port muzzle break's are LOUD! Just wear hearing protection and you will be good to go. If you like to shoot with out ear plugs like some do, get the mil-brake and buy the FAB recoil stock.

I don't find the recoil of the CZ 858 to be really bothersome. Perhaps to control muzzle rise in tactical matches if that is a problem. I have the Krinkov style flash hider just for the taticool factor.

Maybe I haven't fired enough rounds through my CZ but I do have a muzzle break where it counts: on my .270 WSM deer rifle - I don't notice the recoil while hunting but it makes a difference on the bench and helps me to not develop a flinch while practicing.
