CZ 858 newby questions

No effect on point of aim, It still does 2.5 inch at 100m. Irons before I set them. I used an aim mark inside a 50m long shop, I put laser sighter in the muzzle put gun in a gun vise checked the point of aim before working on it and put them back with aiming in the same spot.
You have to cut pin groves on the barrel in exactly the same angle/level

irons are about the same as they used to be might be 0.5 drift but it could be a wind factor too

Sorry to go off topic, but what hand guards are those corwin?

They are Czech army replacments I will have them in stock as you see in the photo and with aluminium rails in 2 weeks price to be announced

I will have both stocks and hand guards in stock in about 10 days. Had 5 stocks but sold them already. New shipment will have a better price. Stocks are replacement stocks designed for Czech Army VZ 58 upgrade program. They use original folding stock folding mechanism it is steel folding mechanism, are extremely durable and position your head for natural aim, length of pull is 275mm about 1 inch longer then original folding stock

One way to make it look shorter is to move the sights back on non-restricted and put a fake muzzle brake on the barrel part that will be past the sights. That is what I did to mine

Can you post a pic of your rifle with the long muzzle brake ?
