Cz 858 scout scope mount

I think wolverine can get them if they dont already stock them. From what I hear they are very good. Solid and robust. They also seem to hold zero quite well. Do a quick search for scout mount and there should be one or two information packed threads with pictures.

I had one on my CZ. Fantastic mount, and I modded the handguard so removing the front handguard for cleaing was a snap. Otherwise you have to take apart the mount to clean the gun. It is designed for this so it is easy but the handguard mod is real simple so I did it. The only complaint I have is that the scout mount raises the sight line way up off the rifle, and cz stocks are designed to give you a view of the irons. Even most aftermarket stocks are designed for the irons. Just makes for a strange cheek position unless you can find an appropriate stock. I used the one in the pick and it worked, also there are people making ar stock adapters that do not slant downwards like the factory stock. Anyways here is the pics of my setup. Let me know if you have any questions.

You can get this mount($120) and stock($90) from Wolverine.

Cut a chunk outta the handguard to allow it to slide back farther.

Rounded off, and shortened the tangs at the front of the handguard

Yea but the hand guard has to be removed to clean the gun...the gun has to be cleaned ofter due to corrosive ammo.....so does this mean I will have to spend time and ammo re zeroing my gun every time I go to the range or will it hold zero when it goes back on the rifle???

Some say it will not lose zero. I don't trust it. Thats why I used the scout and modded the hadguard. Regardless I sold the CZ. I just went to the range far too often and got sick of cleaning it everytime. 9mm AR is the new toy.
