How comfortable is the folding stock to shoot with? I got to shoot the full stock version and I quite liked the rifle and would prefer the folding stock but not if the comfort and ergonomics are sacrificed for the cool factor of the folding stock.

Thanks

I shot my 11.8" carbine for the first time last saturday and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. I couldn't get a real solid cheek weld, however. I would say that it will depend on what shape your face is more than anything. The stock itself is solid and not at all flexy.

When I recently purchased mine it was the only model I had to choose from but was offered a factory rear stock to install myself if I wanted it. I didn't fire one round with the folder since the narrow metal bar with the skinny unpadded metal shoulder pad seemed kind of hokey. I have an OEM folding stock freebee for anyone who wants to pay the postage.

Pipe insulation and duct tape. Cheap, easy and effective.

Shot one on the weekend and I myself would definitely not by the folder. It spent too much time bouncing on my cheekbone. Perhaps it could be comfortable with some padding.

I shot a buddies who had a woven para cord wrap that was 6 layers deep where he would cheek weld. Nice and solid felt really good. Ill try and get him to post a pic.
