CZ 858 Tactical acessory installation questions

I have the CZ 858 restricted version. I've bought the railed fore stock, scope rail and grip. The grip was simple but I'm lost trying to get the rest on. For the top section, I've got the wood off the metal but can't for the life of me get the plastic back on the same way. I'm also not sure how to remove the forestock. It looks like I have to punch the pin out but I don't want to unless I'm sure.

Great gun though. Lots of fun.

Any help is appreciated.

You have to punch the pin out. Top one goes in the same way as the other came out, but if it's really tight you may have to sand it a bit. You want it tight so try not to sand if you don't have to.
 
Thanks for the reply, I cheated taking the top one out and cracked it to remove it. I can see how it rotates out but going in is very stiff. I'm afraid to bend the metal it's so stiff.
 
for the lower HG , you need to remove the pin, you can punch it either direction .

i had no trouble putting the top HG , may i suggest you use alittle bit of oil to help rotate it in .

Thanks Curtton. My next question was going to be which way to punch the pin...lol
 
either way it is a straight pin staked on both ends, it may be easier to drive it fron the side that the headlooks smaller if you can tell the difference.
