Well I was curious to those who have shot or own both, which is more accurate? At 50 yards and 100?

i own a CZ 858 from 2012, and a Type 81
accuracy is negligible if you use iron sites for mine, very similar 4-5MOA, once someone figures out a good scope mount then you can get good comparison of the two, the only real advantage i see is the type 81 has less muzzle rise so easier to get more shots on target if your doing rapid fire.

CSA Vz 58, 2.75 MOA with red dot............. type 81, 6 MOA with irons..... really sh!tty iron to disclose tho.

I've owned 2 858's, best group I could muster with one was a little under 3 inches @ 100 with a 4x scope. My first Chinese SKS could do 3-4 inches at 100 yards, I thought this was how they all were so I "sold it, will rebuy later" boy was that stupid. Now I'm in the 4-6 inch group.
I've seen on Youtube these type81 rifles were about the same as an 858, but I have no personal experience. I have seen Mosins shoot 2.5 inch groups with surplus ammo, I was shocked.
