Just this week a got a word from a Vancouver supplier that U.S. army have been buying Czech surplus ammo by train loads to supply Afghan & Iraqi armies, yes there are plenty of AK's in service. Our best bet right now is Russian or Ukrainian surplus, about the same cost, when that dries up, then the Chinese non-corrosive but pricier stuff.
