CZ 858s, which versions had issues with the gremlins?

It can happen on any, regardless of the production year. The problem is widely over exagerated by the internet and is very easy to fix without resorting to tabbing your bolt.

If there is no tab on the bolt, then it is probably only a matter of time before the gremlin will rear its ugly head.

How many 1000s before it shows up ? Got a couple crates down the pipe and still nothing. Been running flawlessly since new.

As I said, the gremlin is a grossly overblown issue experienced by a few but repeated by a lot than never even fired a CZ858... Buy one en enjoy it, if the gremlin does show up, its an easy fix without any welding:

I could fix a CZ 858 with "the gremlin" in 10 seconds with a pair of needle nose plyers. If its the second type of gremlin with the wondering sear pin, would take 2 minutes with a shim and plyers. But to answer your question its the CZ 858 that will do it. The CSA has its bolt tabbed and the sear pin is already shimmed from the factory. I don't know about the WR762 as I haven't looked inside of one to see.
