Why on heart would you want a heavy side rail? If you want a quick detach, just buy quick detach ring.

General question about these types of rifles - why do they all have stocks that look like they were put together with sawdust vs. real wood?

We are using these cheap surplus stocks to keep the cost down. Will also be pleased to sell you a replacement stock when your budget allows.

In answer to another question, these rifles use standard CZ mags not AK47 mags.
