cz aluminum grips questions..

Im looking into getting some aluminum grips, most likly the checkered version.

How thick are the thick version of these grips? I have big skinny hands/long fingers and dont think the thin models will work for me.

Anyone have experience with the checkerd versions from CZ and the angus hobdell versions? Im wondering how the checkering is different.

CZCustom should list which ones are thin-profile and which aren't under their descriptions. The thick (regular) ones are .3 inches thicker overall I believe. I have medium hands and love the slimmer grips.
