CZ American 455 in .17HMR

I recently picked up a CZ in 17hmr.
It is the 455 American with the switch barrel capability.
I have no inclination to switch barrels though, but the option is there.
So, the purpose of this post is to show the abilities of said rifle.
This is not my first CZ and it likely will not be the last.
There will be more to follow in the coming weeks.

Tried to clean up the pics and that didnt work, but here is the factory target test for function only.
Mean point of aim and then impacts for a total of five rounds.
.50 cent piece for reference

Congratulations. CZ 455's are really great rifles. You're right about it not being your last CZ.

No offence but i can barely see your pictures. It looks like it is a good shooter if that is a single hole multiple shot group in the second photo.

The factory test target is exactly that not for accuracy just to confirm shooting function test nothing else.As for the crud most of it is from bluing just run 1/2 doz patches through and shoot it.The break in recommended for 17hmr like a center fire is what you use as a guideline. http://riflebarrels.com/support/centerfire-maintenance/

What I was trying to show was the dirty patches from the test firing at the factory.
The factory target and then have a base line for a range report.
The factory target was shot with 15.5grn bullets and I have some 17 grn V max.

Again, just a base line and will get some pics of it in the wild when the glass is mounted.
The five shots for function can be covered with a Loonie... this is a 50m target.

Congrats on the new 455, those CZ's kind of grow on you, I have a 452, 455 and a 527 as well as an old BRNO #1. Don't have a 17hmr but plan on rebarreling my #1 to 17m2, the barrel was toast due to poor storage at some point in it's life.

I don't think the picture sucks but I think you have your camera set on like VGA or some really small compressed file setting. I am getting older now and my vision blows now.

My 452 had a lot of gunk in the barrel when I received it as well. Looking forward to see your tight groups.
