So I posted I mystic provisions forum to ask if he would push for some cheaper 455 barrels and he has agreed if there is interest. I cant be the only one that is jealous of the Americans who can get the lilja for cheap. If we could drum up enough interest in say a shillen or mcgowen prefit we could be in the 350 range. From what I see the barrel is one of the cz weak links and this could be huge for the accuracy of your rifle

I agree that imported barrels are expensive, so much so that it keeps a lot of shooters from getting them. Not only that it takes a relatively long time to import them.

One of the things to keep in mind is that headspace can be an issue with drop in barrels. Lilja addresses this by providing shims.

Agreed about the headspace, anyone designing barrels for this should be aware of this and a good Smith should have no problem

Any drop in barrel should be able to be installed by the user, without the need for a gunsmith to set the headspace. Lilja's barrel and shim system allows for that with all that is needed being a depth micrometer or a headspace gauge. If Lilja barrels with shims could be imported and available without the long wait that would be a very good step.

IBI is making rimfire barrels. I'm sure they would have no problem doing some 455 drop ins.
