I tried every brand of .22 WMR ammo known to man in that thing, and I couldn't get it under 2.5 MOA no matter how hard I tried.

I have a couple of ratty old Mossbergs and a 94/22M that would shoot circles around it.

The next one I buy is going to be one of those stainless/synthetic Savages. Rumour has it they shoot pretty well.

2.5 MOA with a .22WMR CZ ? Obviously, something was wrong with your rifle. Was the barrel free-floated ?

As far as I'm concerned, mine prefers RWS HP ammo: I got .800'' average with this ammo at 100 meters.
