Looking for some help.

I panic bought this yesterday without knowing anything about CZ pistols.

It's definitely a 2-tone cz85 of some variety, missing a magazine.

Seems to have a factory adjustable rear sight. Spur hammer. Slide marks hard to make out in photos, but I think it's not marked as a B or Combat model?

Will any cz85 mag fit? Anything anyone can tell me about it?

If it has an adjustable rear it's likely an early pre b Combat. My experience with mine is that some newly manufactured mags fit, some don't, but it's not quite as bad as my pre B 75. Look for the old factory mags that the CZs used to ship with before they switched to the Mecgars with the blue followers. These are the ones with the goofy plastic basepad with the short body to limit it to 10 rounds.

Its a great looking Pre B CZ 85! Fairly rare with the unique adjustable rear sight and 2 tone finish. I believe your particular version should also have an adjustable trigger from factory.

.30/06 FTW is on the mark about mags. Most newer 75b mags like the mecgars don't fit. I've had luck with some of the older cz mags when you can find them.

Probably was all blued at one point, looks like someone tried their hand at polishing the frame for that 2 tone look...

I don't think so Mike, lots of photos of these in 2 tone in the net, it was a factory offered configuration.

Just looks very scratchy like a home polish job, like metal is in the white. The ones I've seen don't look like that.
Throw a bit of cold blue on it and see what it does, somewhere not visible.

Not my case. I shot a lot of handguns in the last 50 years, and that CZ model is not doing it for me.
Anyway, it’s not about me but the OP’s purchase.

So I got these mags, are these the right generation of mag to work in this gun? I guess worst case I can mod the frame, but hoping these are the right CZ mags.

It’s a transition model with B-style trigger guard. So there’s a good chance modern CZ75 mags will work. I’d wait for the gun to physically arrive and check if MecGar mags fit, then buy a pile of them. Or maybe the seller would be kind enough and test if the modern mags can fully seat in the frame.

Maybe, though I already had the above mags in my bin. I've never owned a cz75 or 85, but I got these in a lot deal at some point and I know they are cz OEM 10 round mags. Just not sure what vintage.

CZ had been shipping new pistols with these mags until 2018-ish, IIRC. They are identical in shape to the current MecGar mags.

Those are mid 2010s era mags so obviously not what would have shipped with it, but those are the ones that I was talking about that work in my pre B 75 and pre B 85 Combat. You should be good to go.

Nope they're narrower.
