Well I have done a variety of loads with 35gr Vmax bullets and LiLgun powder, and at 50 yards with no wind they grouped great, today at 100 yards different story. velocities were averaging 2700.
Yet I take the same rifle with Hornady factory 35gr ammo and put 3 in the same hole at 3100 and 3200 fps. Rifle just loves these much faster factory load. FS

I think lil gun is best for heavier bullets for the Hornet (45 to 50 grain)

I would try 2400, IMR 4227 and lastly H110 and see how those work.

I use a discontinued powder Win 680 with 40 gr hollow point and get dime sized groups with my Brno hornet @ 100yds.

The hornet is a VERY fickle wench! After much heartbreak and split cases I stumbled on a load with just 10.5 gr of lilgun and a 35 gr vmax
(in my k hornet). I don't know how fast it's going , but today it shot 1" high at 100yds still about 1/2" high at 150 yds and about 4" low at 200.
It blows gophers to pulp and I'm going to let it go at that. It holds about 1" at 100.
H110 was ok, win 296 was plain dangerous with pressure ranging from barely blowing out the case to blowing primers right out.

I have found the trick to making a [almost any] Hornet shoot great is to use pistol primers instesd of rifle primers, not uncommon to have group size cut in half. The 33 grain speer TNT with 296 is fast and very accurate.
