Bought the above with Burris .22 Dlx High mounts, but find they are about 1/4 inch short to to mount my scope. Anybody know of a .22 scope mount that is that much higher? Thanks-Karl
Your SOL on that, I have the Lux and love the irons. You can mount a scope with a small diameter Obj bell. a 32 MM should work with those. Other than that a long scope may also work well , that puts the bell forward the rear sight.
Millett may push the elevation up some, but the look would suck on a pretty rifle like that,
Don't know on the particular scope. Where the bell will be located in relation to the front sight may also be an issue. I have used both bushnell 6-18, and Leupold 6.5-20 x 40mm with success. A quick measurement gives a clearance of .7" from the top flat of the receiver to the bottom of the scope tube.
Note: BKL's risers are also available and will definately get you there if you don't mind a high scope.
It's a Mueller apv, the bell sits right on the welded portion of the back sight, probably about 3-4mm too high. BTW, the APV is a heck of a scope for the money. Karl
