Been looking at getting a new pistol in 9mm. These two have peaked my interest so far and am looking for anyone's insight on either of the two. The price range is roughly the same for these from what I've seen, which is around $600, so if you have another that might compete between these two let me know.

Looking for any comments, pros and/or cons.

Thanks

Neither will let you down, you really need to try both yourself and see what suits you better. Pistols are very personal and its often very little nuances that make or break them for each individual.

I haven't had a chance to try the p250 but I am a big advocate of the p07 myself so i can vouch for its performance.

i recently got a p-07 myself, she's easy to shoot as far as i'm concerned (it's my first handgun so that says something i suppose) and they look pretty cool too. Unfortunately mine seems to have the occasional failure to extract and i'm having a hard time figuring out whats causing it. sometimes i'll get 1 or 2 per magazine consistently, and sometimes using the same ammo i'll get only one or two failures out of the entire day. That said most of the owners i've talked to have loved these pistols, and it's been suggested to me that i may just have a weak extractor spring which was common in the 2009 batches which is what i have.

P07 was one of my first and it has never given me an grief. Highly recommend it. Gives me some interest in looking at a P09.

I like the P07, but find I shoot better with heavier all-steel guns. If it's your only one, this won't matter, but if you are shooting several different guns, it might.
