CZ P10F trigger safety

Greetings!

I just got this (hopefully not the last) and going through function check and dry fire I noticed that the trigger safety doesn’t always pop out. For example from a slide lock release or just cycling the action the trigger safety may pop out a bit but never fully.

The trigger is fully extended and I can manually pop out the trigger safety, but is there a spring that pushes out the trigger safety?

The other thing is the slide lock release. It’s really tricky to release- I have to put pressure in a certain angle to get it to release. Other angles it won’t matter how hard I am pressing

For reference I’m very familiar with Shadows and I have never run into a slide release that is this tricky

I’ve also shot Glocks before and don’t recall the trigger safety behaving like it does on the P10

Maybe it’s a different story with a full mag and live rounds, but I don’t think it should be like it is now?

The slide release is very stiff, it’s easier to use when there’s a round in the mag if I remember correctly. It’s been awhile since I shot mine. I’m not a fan of how small it is and it’s on the list to replace with a larger one. I can’t comment on the trigger as I replaced my factory one as it felt too cheap to me

I thought the tucked away slide release was intentional, as the slide releases when you insert a loaded mag, no? Not sure about the trigger safety, but I’d agree, it should be spring loaded. I’ll let you know… if I ever receive mine
