CZ Parts Canada vs USA

I bought a CZ lux off a guy on EE who put a diopter sight on. He lost the front sight hood and knife. I tracked down the parts from the Canadian importer and he wants $32+tx. CZ USA sells it for $14.50, that's more then double. Is this all tariff related or a combo of that and volume of sales. Not a big deal in terms of actual dollars, but by percent man is that crazy! The guns are only 30-50% more here then the States.

you can try ordering direct from CZ, they typically charge a flat rate of $25 for shipping, seriously, at times its better just to pay the price and at least you have it. the other factor is CZ parts in Canada, often take 6 months to get from Europe, they do not come from the U.S. not defending the price just explaining why the cost of often times higher, and buying in the U.S. is not always a savings.
