I am really losing patience with the inability to acquire a replacement extractor for my CZ85-C in 9mm. The pistol has been out of service for nearly 3 months now!!! :(

I have had an extractor on order from three different suppliers, all "CZ Authorized", and thus far, not one of them has been able to supply it. I have tried contacting the "CZ Canadian Importer" and have as yet, received no answer back. I am left with the impression that these CZ dealers don't give a flying F#*% about any form of after-sale support.

Is this the norm for CZ parts support ????

Does anyone in Canada stock CZ parts ????

see what Armco has, and I hear Ghost holster does CZ stuff- try Freedom Ventures as well-
Armco and Freedom Ventures are sponsors of this site as well- click on the links above
Hope this helps

Do you need a new extractor or just a new spring?

I can't see an extractor breaking but its possible. A new spring I can sell one to you for a few bucks.

Thanks for the info gentlemen. I heard back late this afternoon from one place that I had ordered from, and their shipment is expected any day - or at least, so they tell me. I'll update this thread to let folks know how I make out.

Try Dave Campbell at London Arms. Rod.:)
How right you are !!!

I said I would update this thread with my results from the suggestions offered, and London Arms was my first call. Dave was, to say the least, flabbergasted by what I had told him about the runaround that I had been getting for close to 3 months. He told me that all ANY of these dealers had to do was call London Arms, and they would have had the part in a couple days. London Arms maintains a ready supply of ALL CZ parts.

Dave took my address, and dropped an extractor in the mail to me that day. I would have had it in hand by Friday, but the main postal sorting station between here and Toronto was evacuated Thursday night due to a suspicious substance found in a mail bag - delaying all operations.

The extractor arrived in today's mail, 3 business days after speaking with Dave. My CZ-85C is back together :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: , and I couldn't be happier with the prompt service from London Arms. :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

I am undecided at the moment whether to read the riot act to some of these "dealers" that gave me the runaround - if they ever do call - or whether to just let it slide, and be content in the knowledge that Dave will probably have a few choice words for them - LOL !!!!! :D

Extractors?

Hmmm

This is a part I always keep in stock - although they actually very seldom break. I carry as close to a complete selection of pieces for CZ's as anybody in Canada, new and used.

And before you ask, no, I was not contacted :) Would have saved someone a bit of grief if I had been called first - or even second.... :)

I tried a number of "local" businesses that I knew of in Ontario, and when I could not get satisfaction, I inquired here to seek assistance. As I went down the list of responses, The first was to try London Arms, here in Ontario, then Armco, etc. etc. London Arms filled my need, otherwise, you would have been called next, and so on. In hindsight, I should have made my inquiry here to see who stocks them, before ordering from anyone. Live and learn.
