I am new to skeet and would like to try an over/under.I heard this was a decent gun for the money.I have surfed the sponsoring dealers and have not found any for sale.Anyone used one and have an opinion on function and durability?know where I can mailorder one ?

Elwood Epps has one on their site at the moment. These are nice, well built guns
that should fill the bill nicely for skeet & upland bird hunting. It's best if you can try one out before buying, just to get a feel for it.
A quick update. These guns are made by Huglu, a Turkish maker who also makes
these guns for Mossberg under their Silver Reserve label.

I've had my CZ Redhead for 2 years now. The recoil pad is trap style, meaning the top of the recoil pad is plastic so the stock doesn't get caught on clothing when you're bringing it up to your shoulder. I don't know how long it would last as a dedicated sporting clays gun but a guy on Shotgun World Forum has been doing a review on a CZ Canvasback, pretty much the same gun, and he is over 20,000 rounds though the gun now. Mine is used as a weekend warrior or possibly a once every couple of months warrior for sporting clays but when I first got mine, I had the idea of only using it for sporting clays. It probably lasted a month and I was board of clay bird shooting. It’s a field gun that will probably outlast me and that’s good enough for me. It gets me a bunch of grouse and rabbits every year. If I were looking for another over/under or side/side, I’d buy another CZ Huglu shotgun. Should also mention that the gun is built on gauge specific frames. If you buy a 28gauge, it’s not a 12gauge frame with just smaller barrels. The whole gun is downsized instead. My CZ Redhead is a 20 gauge and I mistook it for a 28 gauge when I first saw it.
Since Wholesale Sports and Cabellas no longer stock CZ products, it’s kind of hard to find CZ stuff now in days if you're too lazy to look. London Arms, CRAMF, Inland Pacific Distributors, Wolverine Supply, are all CZ Importers. I just happen to know that London Arms is getting a shipment of CZ products next week by air, fresh from Czech Republic so why not give them a call or e-mail. London Arms contact info is on the Canadian Distributors page on the CZUB web site. Inland Pacific Distributors is from Edmonton if you want to say local.

Okie dokie,
Khan seems to be an ok maker as well. Only time and lots of use will tell
how good they be.
The redhead now comes in a target model as well. My buddy shoots a 28ga redhead and it breaks targets very well. I think they are well built guns. I prefer sxs though. There's a 28ga for sale on the EE right now. I've shot that gun and it patterns great if you want a subgauge
