CZ rifle safety question.

The CZ rifles have a safety that goes in the opposite direction of most two position safeties (Remington, Sako, Tikka, etc), I.E. rearward to fire instead of rearward to safe.

Is this a cause for concern? I'm a bit worried being used to 'forward to fire' that operator error could happen. However, I haven't actually been in this position, and the mental exercise of safe handling precludes an ND.

Does anyone here own both types of two position safeties? What is your experience?

Depends on the shooters ability to adapt. I had a ZKK 601 with the "backwards" safety, and at the same time several rifles with the conventional safety. I never had a problem switching back and forth, not once.
Others may differ, but then I don't have trouble switching between double barrelled shotguns with single and double triggers either, and some find that troublesome.
