I recently got my hands on a NR CZ Scorpion EVE S1, and noticed that with the front sight lowered to maximum it still shoots approximately 1" at 25'
after a Google search, they say the front sight base is too long and cannot go low enough to sight in properly.
Apparent they fix is 2 fold;
1 - cut down the base of the front sight and retainer pin
2 - drill a hole in the handguard to accommodate lowering the front sight more
As this is a NEW rifle, I would rather not do either. Most likely be putting a dot on in anyhow.
Has anyone had CZ replace these 2 parts to fixing the sighting issue?
