UPDATE / Installed magwell here : https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...-2-magwell?p=15989519&viewfull=1#post15989519

Anyone have installed a magwell on his Shadow 2 ?

From which company, which model ? How is the fit ? Which basepad to use with the MecGar mags ?

Looking to buy one for my S2...

Was looking at the Springer Precision site : https://shop.springerprecision.com/Springer-Precision-CZ75-ESP-magwell-SP0319.htm
They make a very nice magwell for the regular CZ 75, you can use full length grips with their design.
I cantacted them to know if they make one for the S2 and they told me they are working on it but they can't tell me know when its gonna be in production.

Dlask also sells a kit but you have to buy the magwell, grips and basepads all together as a package. I just don't want to pay for grips that I won't use...

So what are the options ?

I think it was a Springer one I played with on a gun last summer, really nice fit to it. I'd email Henning and ask him what the best one to get is and then order his grips to fit it.

Like I said, I contacted Springer and they told me its not in production as we speak.

I'd email Henning and see what's the one he thinks is the best.

Search for the one that CZ makes for the S2. You wont be disappointed.

I had one when I had my shadow 2

Got it from sebo weapons if I remember right

I think those two models are very similar. The thing with those models is that you need to use shorter grips.
I would like to use full length grips if possible.

Does it required any fitting ?

Update !!!

Springer Precision updated their CZ75 magwell to fit the Shadow 2.

Now I need to contact them to see if their extended bases will work with our limited capacity Mecgar mags...
They don't garantee others bases will fit their magwell.

The Magwell installation was really easy ! Top notch quality product.

Since you have to remove the hammer/main spring, I also installed a reduced firing pin spring, 11lb hammer and 9lb recoil spring, Mecgar mag Springer Precision basepads and full height Lok thin bogies grips.

I will take better pics soon...
