CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready no extended safety?

Anyone else has a CZ Shadow 2 OR?

Just got one for my wife and realized that it weights as much as my CZ TSO. TSO is only heavier by 7 grams at 1338 grams both with an empty mag... if I was to install an optic, it would probably be heavier than the TSO.

Mine didn't come with an optional extended safety, is that normal or am I missing something I should have gotten?

Anyone know if a more "competition ready" hammer is available? There's unnecessary creep that should be taken out of the factory hammer.

They do not come with extended safeties. Only the shadow 2 regular does.

They do make a competition hammer. Dunno who in Canada has them in stock. I got a wide one from Select.

Not anymore they come with the standard safety now. The extended is an aftermarket product now.

CZ realized they were leaving profit on the table so they stopped including the extended safety.

Anybody know the factory mainspring and recoil weight?

I believe it is 20# main and 16# recoil.

Wolverine has them, but they are expensive compared to other vendors...

There are two versions. The wide works well but you can use the slim as well. I figured the wide would have a little more mass behind it.
