This mount allows you to install a FTP Alpha 3 or Romeo 3 Max red dot optic on the CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready gun. The factory slide cut is not long enough to fit either of these optics so this mount raises the optic to be slightly above the level of the slide allowing you to install either of these larger red dot optics.
