CZ Shadow - Changing springs for Cadet conversion

Hi All,

I've bought a Kadet 22LR conversion Kit for my Shadow. I have a lighter than factory main spring. I'm wondering if I'll have to change it in order to uses the Kadet Kit? I'm planning on shooting CCI mini mags.

Hey Mik, someone else can confirm but I seem to remember that the kadet kit needed a 17 or 18 pound main spring to function reliably.

I use the stock spring that came in my cz75B, and shoot remington target velocity. no issues

15lb is a maybe with some ammo. Better to go heavier to make things easier. 15lb and CCI was good, win, rem not so much. I put the heavy spring back in and it shoots everything.

Does the lighter main spring (for example the 13lbs spring I just installed in my Shadow) result in light primer strikes?
