Just got mine, I like it. But no matter how I grip the pistol the trigger bits the edge of my finger. Just using it for plinking right now, no time for IPSC. I'm sure its been discussed before but how can I purchase a SAO trigger in Canada? Anyone else have this issue, thinner grips maybe help also? I do not have small hands maybe the fingers too fat. Thanks for any advise

try changing the hammer / main spring and see if you still have any trigger bite.

you can order parts from cedar valley hunting or crafm.

Thanks Slavex I thought they looked less curved in photos. Are they a straight swap or would I need other parts to install? Thanks for the tip. Would that trigger make it past IPSC regs? Just curious

yup, IPSC legal and you just drive out the trigger pin (making sure the spring doesn't hit the moon), swap the new trigger onto the trigger bar, put in a slave pin to hold the spring in place while you put back in the frame then put the trigger pin back through, knocking out the slave pin.

Also, drive trigger pin from right (ejection port side) to left. And use something like piece of plastic sprey tube that comes with WD40. Alligning trigger pin and its hole in frame may take some time. You don't need to stake trigger pin after it's in.

CZCustom will ship to Canada but shipping will be high and it may take 4 weeks before you see the part.

Proper roll pin punch is highly recommended.

One more bit - if you DO go with SAO trigger on Shadow, you are NOT shooting in Production Div., if it matters.

Nice, thanks for all the help. I appreciate your time guys. CRAFM finally got back to me regarding my request for them to supply a SAO trigger for the shadow. They answered with more questions? I see that CZ custom is sold out of the SAO right now. Still thinking about the mod for now..............................
