Replacing sights on a SP01 and putting them on a 75B.

The front sight seems basic - a pin and the sight slides out.

Does the rear sight just get punched off of the frame? Is there a trick to it at all?

Thanks,

Don't know about the SP01, but 75B rear sight...you should be able to just knock it off. Front sight, as you said earlier punch the pin and then knock out the sight.

Front sight punch size is 1/16".

I just did mine today when I installed my new FOs.

CZ FO Front Sight Installation

Luger9: Did you have to drill a partiall slot in the FO front sight for the pin? My SP01 factory fornt sight has a partiall slot but the FO sight from CZ Custom Shop has a flat bottom. Any advice on installing both front/rear will be much appreciated.:beerchug:

Yup, I installed the FO front sight and then drilled the partial slot. Be careful not to make the hole any bigger other wise you'll have to get a new roll pin.

I wasn't going to bother drilling it out, then putting the roll pin back in because the sight was in there so tight but I figured it would be better to have that extra bit of hold.

Sorry, don't know about the rear sights...I only changed the front ones.
