Lol people would be replacing barrels multiple times a year.

Pistol barrels last forever- low pressure and low velocity means long barrel life. I've heard of Glocks with 100k+ rounds through them and still going. You'll replace things like springs and extractors and stuff WAY before you ever replace a barrel under normal use.
