HI
Was inspecting a cz shadow canadian and noticed that the hammer on it is different than the regular shadow.
It looks similar to, but not quite the same as the competition hammer. Is the canadian hammer an improvement over the original and/or as good as the competition hammer?
What other improvements were done to the Canadian models? The descriptions i see as to what is done are somewhat vague.

It's lighter, due to being filled with a proprietary maple syrup and beaver fur blend. It acts as a damper, improving cycle time.

Personally I didn't think it was worth it when I bought my SHADOW a few years ago, now you can get a SHADOW 1 for around $900. I like mine and prefer it even to the SHADOW 2 as I am more of a target/bullseye shooter and the SHADOW2 can be a little heavy for that (at least for me) Now the CANADIAN SP01 SHADOW is nice, a club member bought one shortly after I got mine, however the trigger and action on mine is much nicer after I had some work done to it. Mine has CZC race hammer, lighter springs, extended firing pin, single action trigger and a target sight milled into slide(similiar to the cz custom SP01 SHADOW TARGET model they sell) this was all done for less than the price difference between the standard SHADOW and the CANADIAN SHADOW. My trigger breaks like glass at just over 2 ibs.
