CZ SP01 Shadow trigger pull in Single Action

Could you tell me what is the pressure of the trigger pull in SA (out of box). I don't need a average feeling. I need an exact answer. Did you tested with a gauge?

I am not sure about the number,but it will probable be the sweetest trigger pull out of box you ever had with a 9mm.They use 13lb mainspring..

Nope, factory Shadow comes with 18#main spring.

I remember when Shadow came out I tried another shooters CZ and my Beretta 92 with a D spring and didn't see any advantage in the Shadow. But my CZ 75B stainless with a 13# mainspring has a sweet trigger.

Mine was 3lb out the box.The mainspring doesnt seem to make much of a difference with the pull,went down about a quarter pound with the 13lb mainspring.

The main spring only really effects the double action trigger pull weight.

I can't help with the stock setup out of the box. But after I put in the 13 lb mainspring and had done the action job based on the information found at the CZ forum the SA pull was 32 to 34 oz depending in exactly where the spring scale hook was placed on the middle area of the trigger.

I actually had an even lighter mainspring for a while which gave me a DA pull which just barely held the IPSC test weight. And I do mean BARELY!! ! At that point the SA trigger was a few oz below 2 lbs. But I got a few too many light strikes so I bumped it back up to the stock 13lb mainspring. That upped the DA pull to a hair under 6lbs and resulted in the SA of 2 or a hair over lbs.
