Go Canada! Get the stainless Canadian one. Too bad nfa or cssa don't get some money from the purchase though. It wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

It's not stainless but carbon steel painted silver.

Seems to be a few variants of the Canadian ranging from 1300 - 1800 depending on a couple parts but mainly due to the level of tuning.

Not quite. The stock III xtreme is now $1830.

Shadowline/canadian edition, i am wondering if the barrel to bushing fitment is any tighter than a regular shadow?
If not i would not understand the premium over a regular shadow, or like someone else mentionned if a premium is to be paid maybe a stocklll xtrem could be a better move.
Your money your purchase, if it's for the specific look all good too, but myself i look for function wise and still searching to see what are the advantages. A regular shadow can be fully tuned, but if i could find one with a better barrel bushing i am sure it would help with accuracy.

edit: the top of the line shadowmates are very nice guns and awesomely fitted, very tight slide to frame and barrel to slide fit

last price my friends who shoot CZs heard was ~$2K with the dollar and this years price jump. friend just bought one before the price jump and it was $1800

Sounds overpriced compared to what you get with the stock III xtreme.

Interesting price differences. I just bought one from Epps, SP01 Shadowline 3weeks ago for $1100 with taxes. I lucked out.

It seems like most of the higher end Canadian edition shadows are in the west part of Canada. Yours is the entry level one.

Went with the shadow and will upgrade as needed. I have a hard time paying more for something that was cheaper 6 months ago and no improvements other than "current pricing"

yea a shadowline isnt the same as a shadowmate, $1100 is the going price for the shadowline
