CZ SPO1 converted in open class for IPSC

Has anyone in Canada converted a CZ SPO1 to a open race gun for IPSC. I know there a few in the US that have done this.
Is it worth it? CZ has many of the parts and you can use other parts from other guns like Tanfoglio.

I know you can buy a Tan Eric Custom for open, but the cost is high. I know you can buy an S_I for open but the grip is still big. The CZ fits very well and shoots very well. The gun would be a 9mm major.

Anyone have thoughts on the conversion.
