New rifle need a Canadian review please!
Does it wipe the floor with an SR22?
Would a 10/22 in the ATI stock be the same price and group almost the same?
CZ has a fallowing, so please post what you know!
Are the 25 round mags a pain for benchrest shooting, being extra long?

Given that it's just a regular CZ512 in a tactical stock, I would think you should find at least a few CZ512 reviews out there. I looked at a few reviews and said "meh", because the 512 doesn't offer me anything my 10/22 can't do for less money. If I was getting a CZ512 it would be only for 22WMR in a semi-auto. Early models apparently had a bad trigger, but rumour has it new CZ512s are better.

Weird...the 512 shoots well under 1 in at 50 yd without any mods. My old 10-22 did about 2-3 in at 50 out of the box. How much exactly do you have to invest into a 10-22 to make it shoot like the CZ512?

PS: The trigger on the 512 wasn't great when new (about 5lbs). Once modified I have it at about 3.2 lbs. The 10-22 was at about 6 lbs when new. Once modified I got it down to about 3.5 lbs (mainly polishing and stoning of all parts).

Swapping my 10/22 to a Dlask barrel was all it really took for mine to group like that, for less than $200. I too now have a modded trigger, which just enhances the experience.

Sorry but even with a dlask barrel, do you think a 10/22 will shoot groups like a CZ?
Funny funny guy.

Do I sense another useless forum squabble? Unless you own both guns and have done extensive accuracy testing how about we try and keep this thread from becoming a pissing contest.

To the OP, for what it's worth I looked in the 512 and it's a cool gun. The way it breaks down makes for pretty easy cleaning and it looks fairly good in the tactical set up. I too looked for reviews but they are pretty scarce. Maybe you could buy one and do up a nice review for us.

That's what's crazy. He IS the op! Asks a question, then gives smart a$$ remarks to the answers. It's kind of a joke.

I saw one in the wood version and it wouldn't win any beauty contests but I think the tactical version looks better than the SR-22 and hopefully it's lighter.

Buy one already. I'm interested to see a review

I have a 512 tactical out of the box it will out shoot any stock 10/22 at 50yds. and yes the new triggers on the 512 are improved over the old ones, the worst thing if feeding those 25 shot mags.
