CZ Tactical ammo recommendation

99.9% of the time its not that ammo "sorry but its true"

I would say spend abit more time shooting it, also tactical triggers smooth out with time. Just curious what pistol were you shooting before?

New to this pistol? Most of the time, it's the shooter, not the pistol. It will take hundreds of rounds to be comfortable with a new firearm. 124 gr is a good weight for a general purpose ammo. I use 125 gr reloads on my CZ 85 Combat and I am happy with the results. If you are using factory load, try 115, 124 and 147 grs. Choose the one the suits your shooting style. By the way, are you referring to a CZ 75 Shadow Tactical or a CZ 75 Tactical Sport? Is this a brand new pistol or a gently used purchase?

Anyone recommend ammo for the CZ Tactical, I just got one and was using a 124 gr round and wasn`t all that impressed with accuracy. Maybe it was me and being first time out with it or it just didn`t like the round. My first response was I didn`t think the CZ Tactical was all that impressive for accuracy. I hope it was just ammo or as I said it was my first time out with it.

Shadow Tactical

You have to try different ammo brands and weight. It takes a lot time, of patience and rounds to be comfortable with any new firearm. Unless you cannot even hit 6" group in 3 meters, then there might be a problem with the firearm. Try resting the pistol against a sandbag to eliminate flinching and anticipation of a recoil. Do not adjust the sight yet. Ask for help from fellow shooters to have them try the pistol and see how they group. Remember, factory loads are developed so they can be fired from any firearm of the same caliber. It does not mean that a Winchester 125 gr FMJ that groups well in a Glock 17 will get the same grouping in your Shadow. When I started reloading, I followed the common OAL for factory loads. I get keyholes. But as soon as I found the right OAL, powder charge, I get perfectly rounded holes and better grouping.

Also, relax before going to the range. If you are tired, your hands will not be stable enough to give you a good sight picture and a smaller grouping.
